My work is concerned with telling stories. It is a collection of autobiographical incidents and occurrences that incorporate marks and images of deep personal significance. In creating these narratives there is also an attempt to communicate universally about the concept of relationship, self and spirituality. My work explores the effectiveness of the fine arts in communicating these concepts to the masses. I am interested in the relationship of music to art and the role each medium plays in stimulating thought and conversation; does one do it more effectively than another? These “all small” pieces are reflections on the images spawned by stress and anxiety and how they are manifested in sleep, eventually permeating our waking thoughts.
