Curb to Curb is a discrete chapter in Wheelchair Diaries, an ongoing video essay documenting my encounters with the Atlanta cityscape and the perspective gained as I move through the world in a seated position.

This video offers a short glimpse of the detour a lack of curb cuts forces me to take in order to cross the street at the end of my own block. The split-screen pairs my experience viewed from my wheelchair with footage that follows what I have to do in order to simply go from one curb to another. Taking a ‘walk’ in my own neighborhood becomes a journey of discovering and getting around hurdles.
