My works are a kaleidoscope of found objects, many personable and historic, in which I assemble collages, wall assemblages and installations. They are rich in history, color, texture and are compositionally balanced with layers of ephemera, cloth, thread and other tactile materials. I have collected some of these over the past twenty years. I define these sumptuous tactile assemblages as fragments of life that have a nostalgic familiarity, creating an emotional connection between the artist and viewer. I use both natural and man-made materials; these uniquely arranged three dimensional wall constructions are an intuitive portrait of the human experience, equal rights as well as the political relationship with the world.
